Adorable, sporty and functional...what more could you ask for in a winter coat? The Winter sailor Parka from GF PET® keeps pups cozy while adding a big dash of cute! This stylish puffer has a faux fur-trimmed sweatshirt hood and comes in fun colors to attract lots of positive attention.
The Elastofit® ribcage and neck panels allows for comfort and freedom of movement for even the most muscular dogs. All GF Pet coats have drawstrings at the bottom edge, so you can cinch up any extra length! Plush faux sherpa lining. Strong velcro closures at the neck and ribcage make this jacket stay put. No more popping off when your dog starts running. Easy on/off, too, so great for seniors, tripods, dogs with injuries or any other mobility issues!

This coat should have a close fit without being difficult to fasten the neck & ribcage closure tabs. When your dog is seated, the tabs should not appear to be pulling open. We generally recommend sizing up with these coats, so that your dog can comfortably wear a harness and/or base layer, underneath.
The bottom hem should cover as much of your dog's lower back as possible. For shorter dogs, the length can be adjusted by pulling the draw cords on both sides of the hem.

Unworn apparel with tags attached & with all original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Items with stains, hair and/or odors are not returnable. Original shipping charges and return shipping cost is not refundable.

perfect fit for pitbull shape, couldn't find anything locally that fit her shape & this fit the ticket perfectly. fitment size chart on website is true to what you receive.
Definitely agree with another review, the harness loop opening is too small and makes it fairly difficult to fit the harness loops through the jacket to attach the leash to.
only recommended improvement would be to lengthen the opening for the harness loops, its about 1/4-3/8" too short.
Thanks for the nice review and the photo of your adorable dog! Openings for harness attachments are always a point of contention--there are so many brands and types of harnesses, and they all have the ring in a different place. In the past, we've carried coats that have a 3' x 3' opening with a velcro flap to cover it when it's not being used. Even those giant openings didn't work for every type of harness.
For customers who find the opening isn't quite right for their dog's harness, I always recommend putting the harness on without the leash attached, putting the coat over it and feeding the leash under the back of the neck of the coat (or front, depending on whether you use a back or front clip harness) and attaching the leash that way instead. We have several different types of harnesses and that always works for us with the ones that don't align perfectly! I hope this is helpful :)
We love his new cold weather wear! Excellent craftsmanship with one exception....the hole where you attach the leash is both way too small and very misplaced for convenient latching. I plan to ask a seamster friend to widen it. Otherwise, it's perfection!!!

The Blue Sailor Parka makes the snowiest day bright! I couldn't wait for the cold weather just so I could show off my pretty pittie! This coat is warm and stylish. The length is adjustable, and I was able to throw it in the washer and dryer (low heat) with no problems. I love it!

Very well priced and well made jacket. Ordered on the larger side since it seems my American Bully is constantly growing. The harness opening is perfect and works well with his harness, and the jacket keeps him nice and warm. It's also very easy to put on and take off with the velcro closures so it makes going on walks very easy. He's not the biggest fan of the hood but it has a handy velcro strap to keep the hood down so it's not an issue. So happy to finally find a brand that has clothes that fit him since most pet stores don't carry anything close to his size (for reference he is wearing a 3X, and is around 85 pounds). Will definitely be buying from this business again!
