This coat should have a close fit without being difficult to fasten the neck & ribcage closure tabs. When your dog is seated, the tabs should not appear to be pulling open. We generally recommend sizing up with these coats, so that your dog can comfortably wear a harness and/or base layer, underneath.

The bottom hem should cover as much of your dog's lower back as possible. For shorter dogs, the length can be adjusted by pulling the draw cords on both sides of the hem.
