Your Dog's Favorite Tie Dyed T-Shirt by America's Dog Apparel is a wardrobe staple for any broad-chested dog! It has a lived-in feel and slouchy fit that reminds us of that favorite vintage tee... you know the one. In the summertime, use this as lightweight barrier between your dog's skin and the sun, biting bugs or burrs... in colder months, it makes the perfect base layer under a coat or sweater and also doubles as a comfy sleep shirt. Fun, vibrant tie dye will get your dogs tons of positive attention!
America's Dog Apparel garments were designed for dogs with larger ribcages and shorter spine length and are meant to be worn slouchy! The fit around the upper body makes for easy on/off and we've eliminated slippage by placing the neck seam a little higher than other t-shirts. For the boys, we cut the underside higher but did it without sacrificing undercarriage coverage for the girls. And for maximum comfort and safety, we eliminated drawstrings, buttons, snaps or zippers.
A great choice for surgery & injury recovery because cotton is breathable and since our tees are cut to fit loose without falling off, air can circulate and fabric doesn't stick to the skin. A lightweight layer can also prevent dogs from licking wounds on the torso, chest and shoulders!
No hangers, cardboard, tags or plastic packaging means less waste and because the fabric and hoodies are manufactured within 150 miles from our warehouse, our carbon footprint is very small.

This garment is meant to have a slouchy, vintage fit-- kind of like that old favorite sweatshirt you loved in college. Please size up if your dog is at the upper end of the measurement range for the size you're thinking of ordering.
A tight garment will push a dog's fur back and forth against the direction of hair growth as they move, which is a feeling that's aversive to most dogs. (This is why we pet dogs in the direction of hair growth, not against it). Dogs are generally more comfortable in looser-fitting clothing and we want your dogs to be comfortable and happy!

This is our in-house brand of dog apparel designed for hard-to-fit dogs in 2014 by the founder of Fit for a Pit! All tees & hoodies are made from 100% USA cotton, which is spun into yarn at a spinning mill in SC. This yarn is then woven into jersey and french terry fabrics especially for us by a weaver in NC, then cut and sewn into garments at a sewing facility in NC. Our hoodies are garment-dyed (dyed after sewing) in North Carolina and slogan tees are printed in Missouri.
No hangers, cardboard, tags or plastic packaging means less waste. Our patterns are cut in a way that creates less fabric waste. Making small batches of apparel in this manner, and all within a short drive of our HQ near Asheville, helps us keep our carbon footprint small and allows us to have personal relationships with our contractors.
We believe making comfy clothes for stocky dogs can be done without sending labor overseas and we're doing our part to help create & keep Carolina textile workers employed and paid a fair wage for their craft!

Unworn apparel with tags attached & with all original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Items with stains, hair and/or odors are not returnable. Original shipping charges and return shipping cost is not refundable.
